My name is Saba. I am a psychologist and an internationally certified behavioural therapist based in Pune.
I run a special needs school with over sixty students — children with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions…

When I entered this field, I thought the path was clear.
Then I tried entering the market with just my psychology degree and found what most of you already know.
The options were counselling — a saturated field with 15k PER MONTH salariesor eventually becoming a professor.
Both paths led to the same place…
High effort. Low pay.
My Family always keeps me asking,
“Psychology mein kya rakha hai?”
I started asking myself one question…
Is there a way to actually understand why a child behaves the way they do?
Not just manage the situation…
BUT to actually understand it !!
That question led me to Behaviour Decoding.
Here is what nobody told me, and what nobody has told you either.
The problem is not psychology. The problem is not your degree. The problem is not the clinics, hospitals, and schools.
The problem is that you were taught the wrong skill.
You were taught the skill of counselling.
Of assessment.
Of diagnosis.
Of report writing.
But the skill that actually upgrades this career…the skill that separates the practitioners earning peanuts from the ones who have a waiting list of 2 to 3 years at expensive clinics…has never been taught in any college or any programme in India.

BEHAVIOUR DECODING™
The ability to look at any behaviour, in any child, in any setting, and know exactly why it is happening — before you even intervene.
And why does nobody teach this in India?
Well, there are mainly three reasons for this question:
Reason 1 — The International Certification That Closed Its Doors
The most respected behaviour specialist certificate in the world is issued by an American organisation called BACB. For years, Indian professionals could take that exam from inside India. Then one day, without any warning, they shut the door. India was removed from the approved list. The pathway did not become harder. It completely disappeared.
Reason 2 — The Certification That Charges in US Dollars
The next option is a qualification called QBA — real and respected.
But it charges in US dollars. One programme costs between ₹1,24,000 and ₹1,66,000. For someone earning ₹15,000 a month — that is almost a full year of salary. Just for the registration fee. Before rent. Before food. Before anything else.
Reason 3 — The Government Body That Stamps Papers
The options inside India are limited to Local Indian Certificates. It exists. It gives certificates. But the clinics are not asking for it. The schools are not recognizing it. The course content is outdated. It was built to stamp papers. Not to build practitioners.
